Collecting Physiological Data During Live Flight Tests
Live flight presents a dynamic environment where many current systems have not been tested for fidelity. Through the use of unique jet trainers and physiological data collection devices, we are able to track real-time changes in a pilot’s responses. Through the use of the pilot’s commentary and data analysis changes to systems can be identified and implemented. Through this series of studies, a series of instruments will be used in a live flight scenario. Pilot’s comments will be used to ensure the comfort of systems, while data collection will ensure the fidelity of instruments in varying scenarios.
